What is DSCSA Compliance?

DSCSA compliance requires that drug manufacturers, dispensers, and distributors (basically all stakeholders in the pharmaceutical supply chain) follow certain federal and state guidelines designed to protect consumers and patients from counterfeit, fake, illegally modified, or harmful drugs.

Compliance is monitored and enforced along the supply chain through processes such as product tracing, verification, serialization, quarantining, enhanced licensing, and specific waivers and exceptions.
