Systech to participate in seminar series organised by US Consulates in India

Systech International, a global leader in serialization, traceability, and brand protection, will exclusively participate in a series of three seminars being organised by the United States Department of Commerce and the Consulate Generals of Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The Single Company Promotion (SCP) seminar programme created by the Commerce Department is truly unique in its mission to portray and advance the very best technologies developed in the United States. The theme of the seminars is ‘Risk Mitigation in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry: The Criticality of Protecting US Exports and Fighting Counterfeits in India’.

Systech offers mission-critical solutions to the pharmaceutical market in two focused areas — regulatory compliance and anti-counterfeiting. In terms of regulatory compliance, Systech is the global leader in the field of serialization and traceability. The seminars will present the most current knowledge, best practices, and a complete end-to-end solution for total compliance with the US DSCSA law, delivering full protection and continued access to this market up to and after the deadline later this year.

The seminars will be presented by Dr. Avi Chaudhuri, Senior Global Partner at Systech. According to Chaudhuri, “Companies will learn about the necessity of deploying serialization for global Track & Trace mandates and best practices for complying within stated timeframes. Participants will also hear about the shortcomings of serialization as a consumer-driven authentication tool for brand protection, and learn about Systech’s highly acclaimed new anti-counterfeiting solution for the Indian domestic market. Arun Gupta, former global CIO of Cipla and a guest speaker, will focus on the urgency of vetting and selecting validated IT solutions to ensure compliance with FDA regulations. Chaudhuri will discuss Systech’s end-to-end serialization and traceability solutions that include a 30-year history in vision and inspection. Ranga Iyer, former Managing Director of Wyeth and past President of OPPI, will lead a discussion forum on lessons learned and mistakes to avoid.

The seminars are being held on February 28 in Hyderabad, March 01 in Ahmedabad, and March 02 in Mumbai. The events are directed at senior executives and key stakeholders from the Indian pharmaceutical sector. Attendance is by invitation only from the Consul General’s office.
