Systech International will now offer its UniSolve serialization software as an integrated solution with Omega Design Corporation—a global provider of packaging machinery, serialization solutions, and bottle unscrambling technology.

UniSolve is Systech’s cost-effective, serialization software. While it overlays numerous packaging solutions, this is the first time it will be available in an all-in-one, pre-configured offering from Omega.

For over 45 years, Omega has been deploying packaging automation solutions primarily for the pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetic markets. Systech’s software is frequently used as part of these deployments, so the companies have a strong history of collaboration.

“For the last 8 years, we have partnered with Systech to deploy world class material handling integrated with their serialization software,” said Glenn Siegele, president of Omega.

“Combining our product offerings into a single solution anticipates the critical need for rapid deployment as many of our clients face looming global deadlines to protect the supply chain.”

In partnering with Systech’s revolutionary UniSolve software, Omega can now deliver rapid deployment, pre-configured serialization modules in as little as 60 days. Customers also benefit from one integrated manual, integrated single validation documents and a combined Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) that streamlines the site integration and validation process.

Omega now joins Systech’s UniSolve Partner Ecosystem, which creates a multi-vendor environment featuring the industry’s best OEMs, whereby the UniSolve software will be offered into a singular offering with various traceability platforms.

Secrets to Success in the Hot IoT Space

Systech’s highly configurable line of serialization software allows drug manufacturers and packagers to maintain compliance with changing global regulations in a way that is cost effective and minimally disruptive. With the FDA planning new implementation requirements for DSCSA stakeholders (in 2015, 2017 and 2023), manufacturers and packagers will be well served to implement unit-level traceability ahead of the curve.

“Demand for our supply chain solutions has exploded as the need for enterprise serialization, track and trace, authentication and regulatory compliance expands in adjacent markets such as food and beverage, retail and consumer products,” notes Lou Arace, COO, Systech.

“Our global clientele has long relied on Omega and Systech to protect their brands, their bottom line, and – most importantly – their consumers,” said Siegele. “The integration of our products into a single solution will undoubtedly be well received.”
