Systech Customer Training Overview

Role-Based Line-Level and Site-Level Training Series (at Systech sites; Advanced at Customer site as well)

This training series available at Systech sites (Advanced also at Customer site) provides an opportunity for participants to attend training specific to the needs of their role. The program includes courses specific to Fundamentals, Intermediate, and Advanced topic areas so that participants leave with the knowledge and skills to be successful at what they do.

Systech Fundamentals Training

This 4-day course available at Systech sites will provide participants with the skills necessary to effectively use Systech line-level products running Serialization and perform simple troubleshooting activities based on the foundational knowledge provided. This class provides additional hands-on practice using training lines at Systech’s training centers.

Who should attend?

This class is for users at the operational and maintenance levels. Attendees typically include:

  • Key Operators and Supervisors charged with managing and operating the systems during production
  • Mechanics/Maintenance responsible for production system maintenance and/or re-training Vision tools
  • Engineers responsible for making configuration changes during the life of the system

Systech Intermediate Training

This 4-day course available at Systech sites will provide participants with the skills necessary to effectively use and maintain Systech line- and site-level products running Serialization and perform more advanced troubleshooting activities based on the in-depth technical knowledge provided. This class provides additional hands-on practice and advanced troubleshooting using training lines at Systech’s training centers.

Please note that participants must successfully complete the Systech Fundamentals Training course prior to attending the Systech Intermediate Training course

Who should attend?

This class is for users at the maintenance and configuration levels. Attendees typically include:

  • Maintenance responsible for more advanced production system maintenance
  • Engineers responsible for making more advanced configuration changes during the life of the system

Systech Advanced Training

This 4-day* course available at Systech or Customer sites will provide participants with in-depth technical knowledge as it relates to their individual lines and use cases. Building on the knowledge gained from the previous course(s), participants will learn to perform advanced troubleshooting and configuration activities specific to their solution. This course delivery will be tailored to the solution of a single line selected by the customer.

Please note that participants must successfully complete the Systech Fundamentals and Intermediate Training courses prior to attending the Systech Advanced Training course.

Who should attend?

This class is for engineers involved in Systech line-level and site-level solutions that have plans of customizing their existing systems or expanding their troubleshooting and configuration skills beyond what was achieved in the Intermediate course.

This 2-day course available at Systech sites provides participants with the product knowledge necessary to effectively participate in or manage projects involving Systech products and solutions.

Please note that this class is intended for non-technical personnel and is not meant as a replacement for any of our technical courses.

This class is for anyone who participates in the projects involving Systech products and solutions at the management level. Attendees typically include:

  • Non-technical personnel responsible for tasks related to projects involving Systech products and solutions
  • Managers requiring a higher-level understanding of Systech products and solutions

This 4-day course available at Systech or Customer sites provides participants with the skills necessary to effectively operate Sentri/Advisor systems and perform Vision troubleshooting activities.

Please note that this course does NOT include coverage of serialization topics.

Who should attend?

This class is for anyone who participates in the operation, configuration and maintenance of Systech Vision systems. Attendees typically include:

  • Operators charged with managing and executing the vision systems during production
  • Technicians responsible for production system maintenance and/or re-training vision tools
  • Engineers responsible for making configuration changes during the life of the system

Vision Tools Only Training

This 2-day course available at Customer sites provides participants with the skills necessary to effectively operate Vision inspections on Systech Sentri systems and perform Vision tool troubleshooting activities.

Please note that this course only covers topics specifically related to Vision inspections. It does not include serialization topics nor topics related to the administration and configuration of Systech systems.

Who should attend?

This class is for anyone who participates in the operation, configuration and maintenance of Systech Vision systems. Attendees typically include:

  • Operators charged with managing and executing the vision systems during production
  • Technicians responsible for production system maintenance and/or re-training vision tools
  • Engineers responsible for making configuration changes during the life of the system

Systech Essentials Training

This 3-day course available at Customer sites will provide participants with the skills necessary to effectively use Systech line-level products running Serialization and perform simple troubleshooting activities based on the foundational knowledge provided.

Please note this class is limited on serialization hands-on interactivity due to the lack of a training test line.

Who should attend?

This class is for anyone who participates in the operation, configuration and maintenance of Systech systems. Attendees typically include:

  • Lead Operators and Supervisors charged with managing and executing the Systech systems during production
  • Mechanics/Maintenance responsible for production system maintenance and/or re-training Vision tools

Refresher Training

This training option provides a review of specific topics chosen by the customer using the equipment installed at the customer site.

When should you choose this option?

Refresher training is the best option in the following situations:

  • Already experienced personnel need a refresher on a small group of topics
  • Training is needed for a limited number of tasks that do not require a full classroom session

Virtual Training Series

UniSecure Fundamentals Training

This blended learning course provides participants with the product knowledge necessary to effectively use and administrate UniSecure.

Please note that this course includes an online self-paced module that must be successfully completed at least one week prior to attending the web conference portion of the course.

The web conference will offer the opportunity for instructor-led review of major topics along with live hands-on demonstration of UniSecure in which participants take turns driving the system. There will also be an opportunity to submit questions before the session in order to have them answered during the web conference. After successful completion of the session, attendees will be provided an electronic resource.

Total time of engagement for the entire program is approximately 3 hours, with 1 hour for the self-paced module and 1-2 hours for the web conference.

Who should attend?

This class is for anyone who participates in projects involving UniSecure. Attendees typically include:

  • Key Operators/Supervisors charged with using UniSecure to perform day-to-day operations
  • Administrators responsible for performing basic administrative functions in UniSecure

UniTrace Fundamentals Training

This blended learning course provides participants with the product knowledge necessary to effectively use and administrate UniTrace.

Please note that this course includes an online module that must be successfully completed at least one week prior to attending the web conference portion of the course.

The web conference offers the opportunity for review of major topics along with live hands-on demonstration of UniTrace in which participants take turns driving the system. Attendees can also submit questions before the session in order to have them answered during the web conference. After completion of the session, attendees will be provided an electronic resource.

Total time of engagement for the entire program is approximately 3.5-4.5 hours, with 30 minutes for the self-paced online module and 3-4 hours for the web conference.
