Global Pharma Brands Focus on Supply Chain Security at Amsterdam Conference

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands &amp Princeton, NJ – Mark Davison, CEO of Blue Sphere Health Inc, will be one of the keynote speakers at Systech International’s upcoming conference on serialization, global brand protection and consumer safety titled: Uniquity Europe, 2016.

Systech, a global leader in brand protection technologies, will host the conference, which will bring together global brand managers, supply chain and anti-counterfeiting experts, analysts and media on April 6-7, 2016 at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel.

Davison is a world expert on pharmaceutical anti-counterfeiting and the author of Pharmaceutical Anti-Counterfeiting. As Principal Consultant and CEO of Blue Sphere Health Inc, a healthcare consultancy based in Philadelphia, PA and Cambridge, UK, he frequently speaks at industry conferences. He leads an experienced team that advises drug companies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and governments on how to keep patients safe from the dangers of falsified medicines.

He currently works with drug companies and public sector organizations focusing on the serialization, traceability and authentication of medicines, including DSCSA and FMD issues such as serialization and tamper-evidence.

“Regulatory requirements for pack coding in the EU, USA, China and elsewhere will impact all pharmaceutical commerce,” notes Davison. “My goal at the conference is to help attendees keep ahead of the compliance curve.”

With the rapid transformation of the global supply chain, the world requires trust, security and efficiency more than ever.  Today’s pharmaceutical and consumer product brands are thinking long-term strategies beyond machinery and existing processes to safeguard their brands and engage with consumers.

“Uniquity Europe is the platform enabling a variety of industries to collaborate in developing future-proof technologies that bridge the gap between packaging equipment, serialization, authentication and consumer engagement to create a trusted supply chain,” said Manfred Voglmaier, senior director, Europe, Systech International.

Systech is the global leader in serialization, track-and-trace, authentication and engagement. In addition to big pharma, leading players in crop sciences, animal health, contract packaging and the food and beverage industries use the company’s technologies.
